Crafty Fabrics – British Design with a Crafty Twist

Crafty Fabrics is part of Chatham Glynn, a proudly British company with generations of experience supplying the trade with quality upholstery and curtain fabrics. Based in Essex, Chatham Glynn has built its reputation on good fabrics, good design and knowing what makes a fabric work — which is rather handy when you’re surrounded by people who like making things!

Crafty Fabrics is their more recent venture into the world of quilting and craft cottons. Their design team are keen sewers and crafters themselves, so the collections have been created by people who actually understand what happens when a lovely piece of fabric meets a sewing machine!

And there is a little twist…

The designs have that lovely British feel we rather like: practical, cheerful and easy to use, with plenty of scope for quilting, dressmaking, bags, home furnishings and general creative mischief.

A note about colour

We make every effort to photograph our fabrics as accurately as possible, but colours can look slightly different from one screen to another. Your phone, tablet or computer may have its own ideas about what constitutes “blue”! So please bear this in mind when ordering — there may be a small variation between the colour you see on screen and the actual fabric.

And, of course, as with everything we sell, we've done the fussy bit for you. We like good fabric, we test what we buy and we only want to put fabrics on our shelves that we would be happy to use ourselves.
