Riley Blake Designs – Beautiful Fabric with a Family Story

Riley Blake Designs may be a relatively young fabric company, but it has quickly become a favourite with makers around the world.

Founded in 2008 by Bret and Cindy Cloward, Riley Blake grew from a family background in the fabric business. The name itself is personal too — Riley is Bret's son and Blake is his father. From the beginning, the aim was to create beautiful, high-quality fabrics with fresh, distinctive designs.

And that's exactly what Riley Blake does so well.

Their fabrics bring together traditional quilting influences with modern colour and design — from charming florals and nostalgic prints to spots, geometrics and wonderfully useful basics. Their collections are designed to work beautifully together, making choosing coordinating fabrics almost as much fun as the sewing!

100% cotton and approximately 44" / 112cm wide, Riley Blake quilting cotton is perfect for quilts and patchwork, but equally useful for dressmaking, bags, accessories and all sorts of creative projects.

What makes Riley Blake different? We think it's that lovely combination of quality, colour and clever design, all wrapped up in a family business with a genuine passion for fabric.

A little note about colour

We make every effort to photograph and represent our fabrics as accurately as possible. However, every computer, tablet and phone screen is different, so colours may appear slightly different on your screen compared with the actual fabric.

We do our very best… but sadly, we haven't yet worked out how to put a piece of fabric through your screen!
